Regulations for On-Site Retreats Inside the Ashram During Covid19 Pandemic

September 21, 2020. Please review the current guidelines now in place due to the covid19 pandemic. All retreat participants must abide by these temporary restrictions. Guidelines will be reviewed and updated monthly as per State of Uttarakhand requirements.

  1. Retreats are limited to 10 participants.
  2. The visitor shall necessarily register themselves on the smart city web portal http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in prior to their arrival.
  3. The Visitor must present the COVID-19 (RT-PCR/True NAT/CBNAAT test) negative report obtained from ICMR authorized lab not earlier than 96 hours from the time of arrival. The Visitor shall also necessarily upload their medical report on the smart city web portal (http://smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in).
  4. The visitor shall mandatorily download and update the ArogyaSetu mobile application.
  5. During the stay in the Ashram, the visitor shall strictly abide by the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Uttarakhand from time to time.
  6. Each visitor will be “thermal screened” upon entry to the ashram.
  7. Each visitor should bring their own yoga mat and meditation cushion to use. A set of sanitized dishes will be given to each person to be used and kept with them during their visit, and should be returned to the reception desk when they leave the ashram. Please bring your own personal hand sanitizer with you.
  8. Visitors can eat inside their rooms, or in the dining hall, but no more than 2 people per table, at opposite ends.
  9. In classes where breathing/relaxation/yoga are taught, masks can be removed inside the classroom only.
  10. When no mask is worn in the classroom, participants must observe social distancing, about 20 feet apart.
  11. Mask has to be worn at all other times inside and outside the ashram, even on walks.

The ashram reserves the right to substitute teachers should it become necessary.

Note: Smoking is not allowed in the ashram. Illicit drugs and alcohol are not permitted.
