Dates: September 4-6, 2026

This residential retreat offers an experiential exploration of the Royal Path of Yoga as described by Maharshi Patanjali in the Yoga Sutras. Suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners, the retreat provides an opportunity to study and apply the eight limbs of yoga in a systematic and practical way.

The purpose of this retreat is to help participants understand how the practices of yoga support physical well-being, mental clarity, emotional balance, and spiritual growth. Through guided practice, discussion, self-reflection, and meditation, participants will learn how the eight limbs—Yama, Niyama, Asana, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi—can be integrated into daily life.

Practices explored will include discussions and practical applications of Yama and Niyama, joints & glands exercises, classical hatha yoga postures, meditation sitting postures, diaphragmatic breathing, alternate nostril breathing, bhramari, relaxation techniques, breath awareness, pratyahara practices, concentration exercises, mindfulness practices, guided meditation, silent reflection, self-study, and journaling.

The retreat is primarily experiential, emphasizing personal practice and direct experience. There is also sufficient time for self-study, contemplation, and walks along the Ganges. Three vegetarian meals provided daily.
