Dates: February 1-7. 2025
There is a method called yoga nidra in which you can have conscious sleep. It is a half sleep and half waking state. It is a state where you can gain complete rest and a little bit of sleep, but remain fully awake.
Swami Rama
Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, is a life-changing technique which requires breathing and mental practices.
Yoga nidra is very beneficial and therapeutic. It is a good practice for those suffering from anxiety, stress, insomnia, high blood pressure and depression. If you do yoga nidra regularly, you will find the quality of your sleep improves and you will be more refreshed, calm and balanced in your waking state.
This method of yoga nidra was described by Swami Rama in the book “Path of Fire and Light: Volume 2.”
This 7-day yoga nidra retreat will give you a systematic way of doing yoga nidra through gentle joints and glands exercises, gentle hatha yoga, breathing and pranayama, relaxation practices and guided meditation.
