Dates: December 25-30, 2025

Learning to live in the world–the technique of living in the world yet remaining above the world–that’s what you need to develop. The world says; “I’m sorry, I cannot really give you what you want.” Unfortunately, you don’t listen to that other whisper from within, the whisper of the Self, that Source which can answer your desires.

Swami Rama

This retreat is devoted to exploring the art of living joyfully in the ever-changing world. The art begins by knowing you are a citizen of two worlds; the internal and external world and how to be in the world but not of it. The true joy can be found within; a joy that is an eternal state of peace, happiness and equilibrium.

During the course of this retreat we will explore several topics to know this true joy of the Self. It includes exploring how to live positively, learning to transform and purify habit patterns and negative emotions, perfecting your personality, how to transcend desires and old stories, how to develop strength, willpower, and intuition, how to have loving relationships and how to meditate so that we can discover the eternal joy that is at the core of your Being.

Besides discovering this topic there are daily guided classes on the practices of Joints and Glands, asanas, breathing, relaxation and meditation.

No prior experience in yoga or meditation is required. It is recommended that the participants read the book “Art of Joyful Living,” by Swami Rama. But this can also be done during the retreat.

Three vegetarian meals are provided daily.
