“Life is breath and breath is life.” Swami Rama

This 5-day retreat is inspired by Swami Rama’s book, “Science of Breath.” This retreat will teach you how you can use the breath to alter your state of consciousness. It will teach you how different pranayama exercises can help boost your energy, shift your emotional state and show you how to live a joyful life by just learning how to play with your breath.

Please bring your own jal neti pot with you for practices.

Boarding and lodging single occupancy: rs.1,700 per person per day

Boarding and lodging double occupancy: rs.1,200 per person per day [Note: Single occupancy charges will be applied if there is no one to share the room.]

  • 4:30 p.m. – Orientation
  • 5-6:30 p.m. – Makarasana, Alternate Nostril Breathing, Brahmari, Meditative Breathing
  • 7:00 p.m. – Supper
  • After Supper, Self Practice
 
Day 2-4
  • 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Ujjayi Breath,  Agnisara, Ashwini Mudra, Cleansing Breathwork,  Energizing Breathwork, Relaxation
  • 8:00 a.m. – Breakfast
  • 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.- Makarasana, Diaphragmatic Breathing, Yogic Breathing, Bhastrika, Relaxation
  • 1:00 p.m. – Lunch
  • 4:00 p.m. – Tea
  • 5-6:30 p.m. – Makarasana, Alternate Nostril Breathing, Brahmari, Meditative Breathing.
  • 7:00 p.m. – Supper
  • After Supper, Self Practice
 
Day 5
  • 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. – Ujjayi Breath,  Agnisara, Ashwini Mudra, Cleansing Breathwork,  Energizing Breathwork, Relaxation
