This 7-day retreat is devoted to stillness and silence. Based on the teachings of Swami Rama, the participant will be guided through practices to attain a still meditation posture, practices to establish serene breath, and practices to quieten the mind leading it to direct experience of silence.
A private room and three vegetarian meals are provided daily. The program begins with a welcome and orientation at 4:30 p.m. July 1, and ends at 12 noon on July 7.
A typical daily schedule is as follows:
5:00 am, Lemon water
6:30, Synchronized movement
1:00 pm, Lunch
2-4:00, Private Study
4:00, Tea and walk
5-7:00, Yoga practicum
7:45, Q & A/Workshop
