This weekend program is designed to deepen and develop your personal breathing and meditation practices. Program begins on Friday at 4:30 p.m., and ends on Sunday at noon (participants are invited to stay for Sunday lunch). Breathing practices over the weekend will include: Diaphragmatic breathing in the crocodile posture, shavasana (corpse), and sitting posture. Cleansing breath and pranayama practices such as kapalabhati, bhastrika, ujjayi and brahmari Nadi shodhanam and sushumna application

* Kirtan with RaganiKirtan with Ragani

Sadhana Mandir Ashram is pleased to host a kirtan event with Ragani. 7:30-9:00 p.m. February 17 & 18, 2017 Ragani, award-winning artist and producer with over 25 years of live kirtan, learned meditation and music from Swami Rama (among others). She has released several albums, writes music for documentaries, and TV, and runs the largest independent ongoing yoga chant scene in the USA, “Milwaukee’s Kirtan with Ragani.” Ragani will be joined by Kaita, a young and rising kirtan star who released her first album, "Let Go," in 2011. Fred Bliffert will also join the event (formerly of "Freddy and the Freeloader"s fame), and performs bhakti yoga at the Kirtan Fest in Milwaukee every summer.
