The Himalayan Tradition The Himalayan Tradition is at least 5000 years old. It lis linked to an unbroken lineage of sages who kept this tradition alive through oral instruction and personal spiritual initiation. Adi Shankara established the ascetic order about 1200 years ago though renunciates had already lived in an unbroken lineage from the vedic period. The Tradition teaches specific methods of training the human mind. The methods are scientific, systematic and inward directed. |
